Quiddity of formation of arts and crafts among Hebrews

Abstract

In traditional societies, there is no difference between artist and craftsman, and this difference is something today. Human activities in traditional society have been considered to be based on principles. For this reason, human activities became transformed and took on a sacred character. Jewish society was considered a traditional society before the modern era. Like other traditional societies, the focus of their lives has been on revelatory teachings (Torah and Talmud). Among them is the concept of arts and crafts. The aim of the present study is to examine how art and craft developed in the Jewish tradition. Research Questions: How did arts and crafts evolve in Hebrew society? What is the importance of arts and crafts in Judaism? What spiritual etiquettes do the crafts have? Leading research collects, compiles, and categorizes material by referring to relevant sources, especially traditional and Jewish sacred texts, and then draws inferences by analyzing, interpreting, and describing the collected findings.The purpose of this study is to investigate the development of art and craft among the Hebrews. The results show that crafts in Judaism have a divine and revelatory origin. Having a crafts is very important. arts and crafts have etiquette that one must follow.
